LCD Soundsystem to curate matter

James Murphy is to curate a night at London’s newest music venue/super-club, matter.

The LCD Soundsystem lynchpin (pictured) will take the reins for the October 24 bill at matter, based at the O2 in North Greenwich. The night’s presented by This Is Not London, who state their events are a ''response against mediocrity and stagnation in parties and festivals".

On the bill: Yacht (live), Gavin Russom, Morgan Geist, Horsemeat Disco, Babytalk, Juan McLean and, of course, Murphy himself, appearing alongside DFA cohort Pat Mahoney.
