Alas, she cannot swim so Laura Marling will have to use a tour bus to visit the venues on her unusual church themed tour, dates for which have just been announced.
Rising songstress Laura Marling has announced a series of intimate dates in churches around the country. The singer has had a busy year thus far, touring almost constantly in support of her album "Alas, I Cannot Swim" and also finding time to appear on Mystery Jets' single "Young Love".
In addition to these church concerts, Marling will also be supporting American legend Neil Young on some of his UK dates, and will also be appearing with Adem in a special concert at The Union Chapel, London.
Laura Marling is also gearing up to release her spectacular new single "Cross Your Fingers / Crawled Out Of The Sea" on June 9th. Taken from her debut album "Alas, I Cannot Swim" it is a typically stark, yet melodic, piece of songwriting from this rising talent.
Laura Marling will play the following dates:
June 6th - Glasgow, Gilmore Hill and Upstairs at Oran Mor
June 10th - Manchester, St. Phil's
June 11th - London, St. James'
June 12th - Birmingham, St. Paul's
