Latitude Returns

Southwold event confirms dates

One of last summer's most unusual and celebrated events is set to return with Latitude finalising its dates for this summer's instalment.

Set on England's sunrise coast, Latitude is a spectacular event that blends music, film and theatre to craft something unique on the festival circuit.

Last year's event saw Icelandic group Sigur Ros play an incredible set on stage lavishly decorated with huge golden orbs. Alongside this the organisers gathered a bill that included top comedians and even the Royal Shakespeare Company whose performance climaxed with zombies emerging from the woods around the audience - scary stuff!

With four stages available to showcase a diverse bill, last year's event was a huge success. Elbow's evening set will live long in the memory, showcasing their award winning album 'The Seldom Seen Kid' just as the sun was going down.

Also on the bill last year were Franz Ferdinand, Interpol, Grinderman and many, many more.

Latitude will return this summer for more fun and games, with the bill to be announced in the forthcoming weeks.

Latitude takes place in Henham Park Estate, Southwold between July 16th-19th.
