Lana Del Rey her brand new Rick Rubin produced single 'Ride' on November 11th.
By now a global icon, you could be forgiven for thinking that Lana Del Rey should slow down her schedule. On the contrary, however, with the American singer recently retreating back to the studio. Working with legendary producer Rick Rubin, 'Ride' was written alongside 'Video Games' collaborator Justin Parker.
Out on November 11th, the single is the first piece of new material from Lana Del Rey since her enormously successful debut album. The upcoming single comes as the singer prepares a new version of said LP. 'Lana Del Rey' will be expanded into the Paradise Edition, containing eight brand new songs.
'Ride' will take pride of place, with the full tracklisting yet to be unveiled. Available on CD, download and vinyl the 'Paradise Edition' is also set to be expanded into a deluxe box set for fans with deep pockets. The forthcoming box set is set to include a remix CD, a video DVD, 7" vinyl of 'Blue Velvet' and four art prints.
Out on November 12th, the version of 'Blue Velvet' is of course taken from that H&M advert. Here's a refresher.
