Ladyhawke Single Update

New Zealand electro starlet Ladyhawke has confirmed details of a new single as well as a high profile support slot with The Ting Tings.

Ladyhawke's self titled album was one of the lesser heralded pop delights of 2008. Despite being packed to the brim with brilliantly executed electro, the album never quite took off in the way some expected.

Perhaps the re-release of 'Paris Is Burning' will change that. A standout track from the album, it is built for the dancefloor. Ladyhawke recorded a French language version last year which promptly became a track of the day.

As well as the single, Ladyhawke is set to support The Ting Tings on a high profile UK tour. Born plain Pip Brown, the singer's battle with Asperger's is well documented, and this new tour represents as step forward for her as a person, as well as an artist.

Ladyhawke will release new single 'Paris Is Burning' on March 2nd. She will also play the following tour dates:
