Kurt Vile has confirmed details of a British tour this September, with Brooklyn group Woods in tow.

With his loose, lysergic songwriting Kurt Vile has been difficult to avoid this year. The songwriter has remained underground for some time, honing his craft on a series of independent releases.

Signed to Matador, the added clout of the label has pushed Kurt Vile to greater prominence. Releasing his new album 'Smoke Rings For My Halo' earlier this year, the record is perhaps Vile's most coherent, impressive document yet.

Set to travel to the UK next month, Kurt Vile has already confirmed a one off London show. Long since sold out, the American singer is also set to play an in-store at Rough Trade East on the same day.

Due to spend the summer on the road, Kurt Vile will return to British shores for an appearance at End Of The Road festival. After this, the songwriter is set to head back out on the road with his band The Violators.

The short run of dates opens in Manchester on September 5th, with other shows in Glasgow, Bristol and London. Tickets are on sale now, with Brooklyn group Woods due to provide support.
