Courtney Love has alleged that her portion of late husband's ashes have been stolen from her home in Hollywood, the News Of The World has reported.

Kurt Cobain died in 1994, and whilst the majority of his ashes were scattered in a New York Buddhist Temple and Washington's Wishkah River, Love reportedly retained a portion of her husband's remains in a handbag stored in her home.

The theft of Cobain 's ashes is not the first time that Courtney Love had had something of her husband's stolen from her. In March of this year Love alleged that thieves had used Cobain's social security number to steal several million dollars from Cobain's estate.

In both cases Love had alleged that she knows who is responsible for the theft.
