German icons confirm performance

Kraftwerk are set to play a headline set at this summer's instalment of Way Out West.

One of Sweden's largest outdoor music events, Way Out West has gradually been developing a continent wide reputation. Returning this summer, the festival has confirmed a live set from Kraftwerk.

An undoubtedly seminal group, Kraftwerk's electronic work paved the way for techno and house. Continually pushing forward throughout their career, the collective's output remains an inspirational, insightful catalogue.

Kraftwerk live shows are few and far between, but the German group have agreed to perform at Way Out West. Bringing their acclaim 3D concert to Sweden, the set will undoubtedly be a highlight of this summer's festival.

The iconic group join a fantastic line up which includes reformed Britpop icons Blur, Florence & The Machine and inspirational post-hardcore collective Refused.

Elsewhere, Bon Iver will perform while other additions include Wilco, Bobby Womack, A$AP Rocky, Hot Chip and more.

Way Out West runs between August 9th - 11th.
