Koreless has pieced together a Top Ten tracks ahead of tomorrow night's Beat N Trail fundraiser.
Koreless came of age in a period of endless possibility, of renewed experimentation and abstraction. The implosion of dubstep seemed to inspire countless genres, with young producers able to blend together sounds which spanned an enormously diverse range.
Rapidly making a name for himself, the London artist's bright, vivid touch seems to burst from everything he puts his name to. Pulling together an enormous broad range of influences, Koreless is part of a new wave of producers who have abandoned any defined idea of place or scene for something rather more wide ranging.
Agreeing to piece together a Top Ten tracks for Brownswood, the results are enthralling. Shifting from dancefloor bangers to rather more obscure fare, this is a guide to someone who must rank as one of the most intriguing young talents around.
Check it out below.
Of course, there's a reason for all this. Two members of the Brownswood team have agreed to cycle from London to Croatia for this month's Dimensions festival. Recruiting two friends, they are asking the public to aid their cause by donating to the Beat N Trail campaign.
The entire journey is in aid of charity, with the Steve Reid Foundation (set up in memory of the famed drummer) set to benefit. A fundraiser takes place tomorrow night (August 17th) at the Dance Tunnel in Dalston, with Gilles Peterson, Dark Sky, Tayo and more set to supply the sounds.
An essential night for a worthy cause. For more Beat N Trail information click HERE.
