Kooks Release New Single

One of the biggest indie success stories of recent times may well get bigger with The Kooks set to release their latest single "Shine On" today (July 7th).

The Kooks are fresh from the success of their second album "Konk" which entered the UK album charts at number one. The group are longtime friends of Clash, frequently dropping by our monthly clubnight for a sneaky acoustic performance. The band are branching out worldwide, with their latest album hitting number 41 in the US charts.

"Shine On" is a golden blast of sunshine amidst the dark clouds of the UK Top 40. A lilting, rolling melody spun over the dancefloor ready kick of the rhythm section, it may well be The Kooks finest single to date.
