Klaxons Preview New Material

New songs from nu rave group

Award winning London group Klaxons have previewed new material in a tiny show at London's Madame Jojo's venue.

The band burst through in a haze of glitter and synths in 2007. Combining indie rock aesthetics with rave euphoria the band helped kick start a revival of early 90s dance, and pioneered a movement in the ill-fated nu rave.

Debut album 'Myths Of The Near Future' scooped the Mercury Music Prize as singles such as 'Gravity's Rainbow' became firm dancefloor favourites.

The band took to the stage at Madame Jojo's before a capacity crowd, and played a number of songs destined to appear on their forthcoming second album.

The songs apparently boasted a rockier edge than many of the group's previous material, with new tracks having the working titles of 'Moonhead', 'Imaginary', 'Silver Forest' and 'Valley Of The Calm Trees'.

Klaxons played the following songs:

'Magick'
'Moonhead'
'As Above So Below'
'Imaginary'
'Golden Skans'
'Silver Forest'
'Gravity's Rainbow'
'Valley Of The Calm Trees'
'Atlantis To Interzone'
