Kings Of Leon Add Support Acts

To summer stadium tour

Kings Of Leon have added more acts to the support line up for their summer stadium shows.

Britain has always had a love affair with Kings Of Leon. Back when they could barely get arrested in their hometown, the Followills were capable of selling out massive venues across the country.

Returning with new album ‘Come Around Sundown’ last year, Kings Of Leon sealed their status in the mainstream. An enormous success, the album capitalised on the massive ripple caused by 2008 album ‘Only By The Night’.

Announcing a series of summer shows, Kings Of Leon are now a genuine stadium act. Due to play shows across the country, the Followills will play the biggest concerts of their lives including an another epic date in Hyde Park.

Support is due to come from Paul Weller, who will play a one off set in Hyde Park. Elsewhere, London trio White Lies have confirmed their involvement while the Zac Brown Band are also due to play.

Now Kings Of Leon have added more groups to the line up. Close friends Mona are set to join the party, confirming support slots Coventry, Sunderland, Manchester and London’s Hyde Park.

Support for the Hyde Park dates will be split between Mona and The Walkmen, with the New Yorkers picking up the slack on the tour. Set to play at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium the cult indie rockers will be thrust in front of an audience of thousands.

The dates begin with a show in Coventry on May 30th, and include a re-scheduled date in London’s O2 Arena on June 20th. Kings Of Leon will play two shows in Hyde Park on June 22nd & 23rd, before the tour finishes on June 26th in Edinburgh.

Tickets for the tour are on sale now.
