Kings Of Leon US Success

Hairy Southern rockers Kings Of Leon have finally found success in the US - new album 'Only By The Night' has entered the Billboard charts at number four.

This is by far the best chart performance in the their homeland the band have ever made. Kings Of Leon's previous album 'Because Of The Times' reached the heights of 25 - a whole twenty positions down from the new album.

Kings Of Leon have had huge success in the UK recently. Currently, the band dominate both single and albums charts, with 'Only By The Night' the second-fastest selling album of the year thus far.

Their success hasn't been confined to the UK though, with 'Only By The Night' currently number one in Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.

This may well be the tip of the iceberg for the band, as they have yet to tour the album in the US. Kings Of Leon's North American tour kicks off in Las Vegas on October 11th, with support from We Are Scientists.

Kings Of Leon are currently number four in the US charts.
