Kings Of Leon Top Charts

Kings Of Leon have topped both single and album charts this week (September 28th), with new album 'Only By The Night' selling an astonishing 220,000 copies.

The Nashville boys have well and truly broken the UK into tiny little chart shaped pieces, with new album 'Only By The Night' becoming the second fastest selling of the year so far. Snuggling in behind Coldplay, the Followills sold 80,000 copies of 'Only By The Night' on the first day alone.

As a result of their current success, the Kings Of Leon back catalogue has zoomed back into chart vision. Previous album 'Because The Times' sits at number twelve, while album track 'Use Somebody' has entered the charts at number 29.

Other Clash favourites in the top ten albums chart this week are former cover star Duffy, and Mercury award winners Elbow.

In the singles chart Kings Of Leon triumphed again, with 'Sex On Fire' holding onto the top spot.

Kings Of Leon have scored a massive chart success, and are currently number one in both singles and albums charts.
