Kings Of Leon For T In The Park

With the winter snows upon us again, the first names for this year's instalment of T In The Park have been announced.

Scotland's biggest music festival, the Kinross bash has become one of the main music events of the summer. Combining a massive set up with an insane crowd, T In The Park is an unforgettable weekend.

Last year the event boasted performances from Rage Against The Machine, The Verve and REM amongst many, many more. In a new interview with Scottish red top The Daily Record organiser Geoff Ellis confirmed a number of huge names for the 2009 event.

"We're delighted. Kings Of Leon are the hottest property at the moment. We're ecstatic at having locked them in. Snow Patrol are Scotland's biggest band at the moment," Ellis told the newspaper.

"She (Katy Perry) has great songs and is full of attitude. I saw her hosting the MTV Awards in Liverpool and I just knew she could carry it off,” he added.

T In The Park takes place between July 10th - 12th.
