Kings Of Leon Smoking Row

Band Light Up In Wales

Southern lords of indie rock Kings Of Leon could be stuck in the middle of a smoking row after guitarist Matthew Followill lit up a cigarette onstage in Wales, it has been reported.

Smoking in venues in the UK has now been made illegal, with acts only able to smoke onstage if it is part of their performance and they obtain written permission.

Kings Of Leon were onstage at the Internation Arena in Cardiff last Wednesday (December 17th) when the incident occurred. The group were reported to official at Cardiff City Council, who have launched an investigation.

The offence carries a £50 which needn't trouble Followill - the band's last album 'Only By The Night' is one of the best selling albums of the year.
