King Creosote For Unusual Tour
'One Man Band' hits the road
Fence Collective head honcho King Creosote has confirmed plans to launch an unusual new tour.
Real name Kenny Anderson, King Creosote turned to DIY methods after a nasty experience with record labels early in his career. Forming the Fence Collective, the Fife label has now given the world James Yorkston, KT Tunstall and more.
With their annual Homegame event now a firm fixture on the festival calendar, Fence has grown into some of a cult phenomenon. King Creosote himself is filling larger and larger venues, with each release becoming a prized possession of fans.
Releasing his new album 'Flick The Vs' earlier this year, the King delighted on a series of acerbic indie folk melodies.
Continually writing, King Creosote is already working on his new album. ClashMusic caught up with the singer at the recent Nordoff Robbins awards in Glasgow, read the full interview later this week!
King Creosote recently held sway over the Fence Halloween party, featuring a raft of Scottish songwriters in fancy dress. The singer demonstrated new material, which he is set to preview on some upcoming dates.
Confirming his 'One Man Band Tour' King Creosote is set to open the dates with a show in London on March 31st. Moving around the country the singer has confirmed dates in Cambridge, Windsor and more.
