Killers / Wolfmother Team Up
Tour finishes with spectacular performance
Las Vegas indie titans The Killers have finished their world tour with a spectacular collaboration with Wolfmother.
The Killers have now become one of the biggest groups on the planet. Their latest album 'Day And Age' has become a global success story, spawning the anthemic single 'Human' and its bizarre yet catchy chorus.
Touring the world, The Killers have taken in ever larger venues. Recent festival performances in the UK were greeted hysterically by fans, with the band memorably headlining Scotland's T In The Park.
Following this The Killers performed at V Festival before heading out to North America. The group completed a mammoth series of dates with a special performance in Toronto, finishing the show with a unique collaboration.
Australian group Wolfmother have been working as The Killers support act for the dates, promoting their now delayed album 'Cosmic Egg'. The two bands united for a raucous run through the classic 'Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood'.
Written by Nina Simone, it was given a rock overhaul by The Animals. The two bands did battle onstage in Toronto, with each group swapping guitar solos under Brandon Flowers' voice.
The Killers are now set to take a break from the limelight to work on their fourth album. Wolfmother, meanwhile, are set to head to the UK where their new album 'Cosmic Egg' will be released on October 26th.
