Killers For T In The Park

Las Vegas indie icons The Killers are set to play festival slots at T In The Park and Oxegen.

The Killers and T In The Park go back a long way. Its been five long years since the wet behind the ears group first stepped out to perform at Balado, and in that time The Killers have become one of the biggest bands on the planet.

Last year's album 'Day & Age' stormed the charts, buoyed by massive lead single 'Human'. The Killers have a back catalogue of festival slaying hits to draw on, with singles such as 'Somebody Told Me' becoming massive indie disco anthems.

From 2004 on, The Killers played three events in a row before taking a break. This is the band's first T In The Park performance since 2006, and marks the band's trajectory into the upper echelons of the music industry.

The Killers will also play a headline set at Oxegen in Ireland. The two festivals have announced startlingly similar bills with Kings Of Leon, Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds and Blur set to play both events.

T In The Park takes place between July 10th - 12th.

Oxegen takes place between July 10th - 12th.
