Killers Single Hits Charts

Weekly Chart Round Up

Las Vegas' returning indie icons The Killers have hit it big with new single 'Human' hitting number three in the official UK charts, it has been announced.

The band have scored one of their best singles chart entries to date in the United Kingdom, with 'Human' soaring into the top five in its first week of physical release. The Killers didn't quite have enough momentum to beat Beyonce, however, who soared into pole position with new release 'If I Were A Boy'.

Further down the charts, Kings Of Leon remain in the Top 20 with their anthemic track 'Sex On Fire' while Welsh soul wonder Duffy is a 15 with 'Rain On Your Parade'.

Over on the album charts, ginger Manc Mick Hucknall has reason to celebrate with his new Simply Red 'Best Of' hitting number nine. The singer has been in the news recently after sparring with Noel Gallagher - careful Mick, he's mates with Ricky Hatton!

Number one is claimed by X Factor singer Leona Lewis, who has capped a remarkable year with her new album 'Spirit'. Further down the chart Tom Jones' re-invigorated new album '24 Hours' sits at number 32.
