Norway event unveils bill

One of Scandanavia's biggest musical events has unveiled the first part of its bill with Hove festival confirming The Killers, Slipknot, Metronomy and more.

Set on an island off the southern coast of Norway, Hove has become one of the most unique event's in the European festival season. The Killers are set to join proceedings, with the Las Vegas group joining perhaps the most environmentally friendly festival around.

Aside from the Killers, Hove 2009 can boast metal gods Slipknot, Bring Me The Horizon, Disturbed, Metronomy, Crookers and newcomers Hockey.

A statement on The Killers' website reads: "The Killers are pleased to announce a headline performance at Hove 09 in Norway. We look forward to seeing you there on Tuesday 23rd of June."
