Kill It Kid 'Feet Fall Heavy' Cover

Kill It Kid have announced a UK-wide tour in September to promote new album, 'Feet Fall Heavy', due for release 19 September 2011.

'Feet Fall Heavy,' to be released on One Little Indian records, is the follow up to their 2009 self-titled album which made the final ten in the 'Best British Album' category of Xfm 2010 New Music Awards and was awarded 9/10 by Clash.

Recording the new album in an impressive 10 days with the help of Leo Abrahams, who has worked with Brian Eno, Grace Jones and Florence & the Machine, the bands Chris Turpin says of their impressive work rate, 'months are spent grooming and pre-producing the perfect electro-surf-nu rave-outfit to suit the necessary tastemakers, we knew creatively we needed to record fast, keep it raw, inelegant and untainted.'

The core theme of the album is 'the spirit of the time,' drawing inspiration from Turpin's experiences living above a local rowdy nightclub.

The September tour is Kill It Kid's second tour following their 2009 debut album launch tour.
