Update - Show Cancelled

Hot new act Kid British are set to play a very special instore event at Wranglers' Carnaby Street outlet.

Forget what people tell you about 'racial divides' - every weekend people of all class and colour and putting aside their worries and partying on down in some of the nation's hottest clubs.

Capturing this feeling of togetherness are Kid British. Hailing from Manchester, each member of the band had a tough upbringing but it seems that music kept them out of trouble. A little bit ska, a little bit punk and a whole lot of fun the group have taken live venues by storm.

More like a street gang than a group the band have multiple vocalists, swapping the mic as and when it suits them. Stopping larking around just long enough to record, Kid British released their debut album earlier this year.

Titled 'It Was This Or Football' the album is full of the same poise and charm which has made them such a sought after live act. The single 'Our House Is Dadless' was a jocular tribute to their mums, which had real meaning beneath its knockabout charm.

Currently on tour, Kid British are fresh from contributing to War Child's recent charity single 'I Got Soul'. Recorded with a huge cast the group appeared alongside Chipmunk, VV Brown and Tinchy Stryder.

Now Kid British are set to return to the capital for a very special instore. Due to take place on October 24th the band will play in Wrangler on Carnaby Street from 2pm - sticking around to meet their fans afterwards.

Kid British are due to play the following instore:

UPDATE

Kid British have been forced to cancel this appearance. A statement from the band reads:

"Unfortunately due to illness to vocalist James Mayer, Kid British have had to cancel a number of tour dates as well as their personal appearance at the Wrangler Carnaby St store this Saturday (24th October). The band would like to apologise to their friends and fans, and promise a very special event at the Wrangler store in November once James has returned to full fitness - watch this space..."
