Kendrick Lamar For Oya

Norwegian event expands...
Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar is set to perform at this summer's instalment of Oya.

Held in one of the oldest parts of Oslo, Oya is regarded as a festival which is able to match a cutting edge aesthetic with a successful booking policy. Shifting, changing year on year, the Norwegian event is set to return with a typically sprawling line up this summer.

The latest additions include Stateside rapper Kendrick Lamar, whose major label debut 'good kid, m.A.A.d city' stunned critics on its release last year. Matching underground beats with an effortless flow, the rapper's live shows have taken him around the world across the past 12 months.

Set to play Oya, Kendrick Lamar will be joined by the likes of former Clash Magazine cover star King Krule, Local Natives and more. Other new additions include Beach House, whose fourth album 'Bloom' turned out to be a breakthrough moment for the dream pop outfit.

Signed to Bella Union, Beach House have spent the past year on the road. Sharpening their live set, the band will now set their sights on Oya this summer.

Tickets are on sale now.

Oya runs between August 6th - 10th.
