Kele Okereke is set to release new EP 'Heartbreaker' via Crosstown Rebels.

Kele Okereke has always admitted a debt to underground dance music. However the past 12 months has seen this become explicit, with the Bloc Party frontman curating a mix for the 'Tapes' series.

Now the singer is working on an EP of solo material. Hooking up with Crosstown Rebels, 'Heartbreaker' is set to be released later this month and contains four brand new tracks.

A salute to the house scene, Kele Okereke explains: "I’ve always loved the inclusive and spiritual nature of house music, so the opportunity to make music for the most iconic and influential house music label in the UK is a dream come true for me".

The title cut has emerged online, and features fragrant house textures set alongside buoyant, UK garage inflected beats.

Check it out below.

'Heartbreaker' is set to be available on vinyl from November 25th, before a digital release follows on December 9th. Tracklisting:

1. Heartbreaker
2. God Has A Way
3. Heartbreaker (Recondite's Amati remix)
4. Get Up
