Keane

Habitual coffee table three piece Keane may be about to take a turn into the left field, and fans can judge for themselves when a new download is released via their official site today (August 4th).

The band have been busy in the studio, promising a new, challenging direction. Their last album "Under The Iron Sea" was released in 2006, but since then Keane have been rocked by lead singer Tom Chaplin's treatment for drug and alcohol abuse.

New album "Perfect Symmetry" will be released on October 13th, with the band promising a departure from their previous work. Debut album "Hopes And Fears" was a huge commercial success, but Keane became a critical by-word for a wave of Coldplay-lite bands.

Keane will release new download "Spiralling" from 11am on August 4th for one week as a free download - after that time period fans will have to pay for the song.
