Always one of the summer's musical high points, Glastonbury is almost upon us.
The mammoth Somerset event has unveiled the first batch of names on its line up for 2014, and it contains more than a few surprises.
Kasabian will headline Sunday night at Glastonbury. It's an enormous opportunity for the Leicester band, with Serge Pizzorno revealing that they were ecstatic at hearing the news.
"We got the phone call – I felt relieved because we've always wanted to do it from the first rehearsal, day one of the first rehearsal" he told NME. "We kicked into a tune and sort of went, 'Glastonbury!', a full on shout out."
Elsewhere, Jack White is set to perform at Glastonbury with other names on the bill including Robert Plant, M.I.A., Skrillex and Elbow.
Former Clash cover stars The 1975 will join the line up, with new additions including Disclosure, The Black Keys, Lily Allen and more.
Glastonbury runs between June 27th - 29th.
