Kasabian Preview New Album
Band Play Mencap Sessions
Kasabian have played a stunning acoustic set at the Mencap Little Noise Sessions on November 14th, previewing new material from their forthcoming third album.
The band hit the stage at the Union Chapel in London after being introduced by U2's famed guitarist The Edge. The Little Noise Sessions are special acoustic events in one of the capital's most beautiful venues, and Kasabian took to the event with a vengeance playing a stunning set.
The Leicester group opened with their classic anthem 'Processed Beats' before working on lyrics from The Kinks' 'You Really Got Me'. Introducing new song 'Fast Fuse' singer Tom Meighan admitted "we were shitting ourselves but you guys make us feel invincible!"
Amongst other surprises on the night was a stunning version of The Velvet Underground's 'Who Loves The Sun?' alongside new tracks such as 'Thick As Thieves'.
The band finished their set with a version of The Beatles' classic 'Why Don't We Do It In The Road?' before playing a slow, bluesy version of 'LSF'.
