Kasabian On Oasis Tour

Meighan Looking Forward To Dates

Kasabian have been confirmed as support on next year's massive Oasis arena tour, and in a new interview singer Tom Meighan stated he's looking forward to getting on stage.

Kasabian are friends with the group, with Oasis frequently stating their admiration for the Leicester group in interviews. The band were personally invited onto the tour by Noel Gallagher, and will join the Manchester legends on a series of massive stadium dates.

Meighan told the BBC in a new interview that "the fact he likes us is just nice, it's a plus."

Kasabian are planning big things for the New Year, with Meighan on typical fighting form promising a host of live dates. "There's gonna be a hell of a lot of noise. It'll be almost deafening I think, we'll be banging on everyone's door,” he said. The band have also been busy recording their third album, set to be released in the New Year.

Kasabian will be joined on the Oasis tour by fellow Midlanders The Enemy.
