Kanye West Prepares Book

US hip hop don Kanye West is set to prepare a massive new book commemorating his recent 'Glow In The Dark' world tour.

Featuring a cast that contained such big names as Jay-Z, Gnarls Barkley, Rihanna and N.E.R.D. the 'Glow In The Dark' tour was one of the most spectacular live events of 2008.

A showcase for West's controversial new album '808s And Heartbreak', the live dates were rapturously received by fans.

Now it seems that Kanye West has become an author. "Kanye West has turned his talents as pop artist to books," Charlies Miers of book publisher Rizzoli New York told E! News.

"With a CD that includes 'Star Wars'-like symphonics from the show as well as interview with Spike Jonze, it is not only a memento of one of the most successful musical performances of the year, it is an experience all its own," he said.

As well as a book, Kanye West has branched out into fashion recently working with Louis Vuitton on a special edition pair of trainers.

The 'Glow In The Dark' tour book will be released in October.
