Another European date confirmed

Kanye West has confirmed another European festival slot, this time at Finland's Flow Festival.

Kanye West is set to begin his assault on Europe. Releasing 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' last year the rap icon was rewarded with overwhelming plaudits yet live shows were thin on the ground.

Recently headlining Coachella, the hip hop star is set to turn his focus to Europe. Kanye West feels at home on the continent, whether it is causing trouble in a Newcastle nightclub or attempting to become an intern at Louis Vuitton.

Announcing a series of festival dates, Kanye West is due to perform at The Big Chill this summer. His sole UK festival date, the live appearance will follow a set at Norway's epic Oya event.

Still on a Scandinavian tip, Kanye West has been installed as the headline act at this year's Flow Festival. One of the biggest festivals in the area, Flow takes place in Finland and runs between August 12th - 14th.

A music and arts festival in Helsinki, Flow have confirmed a diverse range of acts on this year's line up. Hip hop legend Q-Tip is set to perform, while Swedish songwriter Lykke Li will showcase her new album.

James Blake is set to play live, while post-rock icons Mogwai are also due to perform. Recently returning with their new album - the evocatively titled 'Hardcore Will Never Die But You Will' - the Scottish group are a ferocious live act.

Honing their skills with a recent tour, Mogwai are due to perform at this year's Flow Festival. Other names on the line up include the sci-fi soul of Janelle Monae, Iron & Wine, LA newcomers Warpaint and more.

Tickets are on sale now.

Flow runs between August 12th - 14th.
