Kanye West Blasts Jimmy Kimmel

"I am Pac..."
Kanye West

Kanye West has blasted Jimmy Kimmel after the comedian aired a spoof aimed at him.

Kanye West is a man of polarised emotions. The rapper’s highs soar off into the mountaintops, allowing him to make some of the most creatively inspiring major league hip hop around.

Yet West’s lows continue to trouble him. An interview with Zane Lowe aired on BBC Radio 1 earlier this week, allowing fans to get a glimpse of the man, the work and the ego.

Swiftly spoofed by Jimmy Kimmel, the comedian replaced Kanye West with a child actor for a short skit. However the rapper didn’t see the funny side, and – following a short phone call with the comedian – let rip at Kimmel online.

Opening his Twitter feed, Kanye West wrote:

JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS.

JIMMY KIMMEL, I DON’T TAKE IT AS A JOKE…. YOU DON’T HAVE SCUM BAGS HOPPING OVER FENCES TRYING TO TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR DAUGHTER

JIMMY KIMMEL PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES … OH NO THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD PUSSY IN YOUR LIFE…

Discussing the issue on his show, Jimmy Kimmel said: "Quick question... Did anyone else get a very angry phone call from Kanye West about an hour and a half ago? Just me? OK, I didn’t know if he was mad at all of us."

"He told me I had two choices: apologise publicly… and that was really the only choice!’ he continued. "The other choice he gave was that my life - 'Your life' he said, 'is going to be much better if you apologise.' Then he started tweeting today and I don’t even know if I’ve seen some of these tweets, because they’re happening as we speak…'

Reading a few tweets out loud on the show, Jimmy Kimmel said: "He told me this on the phone, I swear. He said, 'I am the most powerful voice in media. I am ‘Pac!” He said 'I am ‘Pac’' a few times to me. ‘He said, 'You’ll never be able to show your face at a 14-year-old’s high school football game and be cool again.'

"I don’t understand it, I don’t know why he’s angry again,’ the comedian said. ‘I thought the bit was pretty innocuous. Finally I’m in a rap feud."
