Kanye West Apologises For MTV Invasion

Hugely successful rapper Kanye West has issued two apologies after invading the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Kanye West, it seems, just can't sit still. The rapper watched in shock as his friend Beyonce was passed over for the 'Best Female Video' award at this year's VMAs, and decided to make his doubts known.
Invading the stage during winner Taylor Swift's speech, Kanye West claimed the award should have gone to Beyonce. Attracting a mixture of cheers and boos, the rapper remained unrepentant on the night.

However Kanye West came in for much criticism after the show, notably from Taylor Swift's mother. Ironically, Beyonce later won the much larger prize of 'Best Music Video' meaning there was no real reason to launch a protest.
Since the ceremony on Sunday night (September 13th) Kanye West has done little else but apologise. Presumably just after getting home the rapper logged into Twitter and retracted his protest.
After this Kanye West fired up his official blog, where he poured his heart out.
"I feel like Ben Stiller in Meet The Parents when he messed up everything and Robert DeNiro asked him to leave."
"That was Taylor's moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry."
Bizarrely, this isn't the first time Kanye West has invaded the stage at the VMAs. Kanye West took to the podium after being denied an award in 2006, and again confronted the winner in 2007 after missing out on a trophy.

The wonderful night turned sour after the incident involving Kanye West and Taylor Swift, probably because Kanye West has lost his mind. For a person that doesn't write all his own music, Kanye West seems to think that he has more talent than he does, which is why he thinks that he can interrupt the Video Music Awards to announce that Beyonce Knowles had a better video than Taylor Swift, while she was accepting an award. ("All the Single Ladies" is a few women dancing around in leotards – it's boring, but they gave her a token award anyway.) Kanye West is an egomaniacal cad, and many would give payday loans to keep him off the MTV Awards for life after his outburst.
