'You'll Improve Me' gets solo release

Junior Boys are set to give 'You'll Improve Me' a full 12 inch release on December 12th.

Junior Boys are perpetually happy. The Canadian duo nary release a sad song, and even then you know it will be followed by a neon lit three minute pop nugget that will have you smiling ear to ear.

Good winter music, then. Thankfully for music lovers struggling to adapt to the cold, Junior Boys have decided to give 'You'll Improve Me' a full 12 inch release.

Pressed onto vinyl, the track will be stripped from recent album 'It's All True'. Met with near universal acclaim, 'It's All True' saw Junior Boys hone their intelligent dance-pop aesthetic into a ruthlessly irresistible concoction.

'You'll Improve Me' is typically uplifting fare, given the remix treatment by two respected producers. Running alongside the original, Junior Boys have commissioned remixes from Caribou and Dem 2.

A fellow Canadian, Caribou has produced some fantastic remixes in the past. Concentrating on collaborations of late, Dan Snaith has released a split 12 with Kieren Hebden revealing a hitherto unexplored fascination with jazz funk.

Given an entire side to explore, Caribou's remix will certainly be worth looking out for. Tracklisting as follows:

A - You’ll Improve Me - Caribou remix
B1 - You’ll Improve Me - Original
B2 - You’ll Improve Me – Dem 2 Remix

'You'll Improve Me' is due to be released on December 12th. Meanwhile, Junior Boys are gearing up for three British shows later this year. Mixing headline shows with an appearance at ATP, dates are as follows:

10 Dublin Twisted Pepper
11 Minehead ATP
12 London Concrete
