Jimmy Edgar is set to launch his own label with new EP 'Hot Inside'.
Detroit raised but Berlin based, Jimmy Edgar has always been a voice of independence. So really, it was only a matter of time before the producer cut ties and launched his own label.
New imprint Ultramajic will open its doors this summer, home to new tracks from a raft of the producer's friends and associates. Leading from the front, Jimmy Edgar is set to release new EP 'Hot Inside' through the label.
Out on June 10th, 'Hot Inside' will be available on 12 inch vinyl and via digital outlets. According to Jimmy Edgar, the inspiration for the tracks came from a trip to the highest points of South America.
"These tracks were started in South America when I was at Machu Picchu and on a sort of metaphysical adventure down there during December" he explained. The release also features artwork from Pilar Zeta, who is forging a metaphysical connection with the Berlin based producer.
In addition to music, Ultramajic is set to release an unusual card deck based on the Law of One, a series of books which (according to rumour) were cowritten by an extraterrestrial being.
