Songwriter gets generous
English songwriter Jeremy Warmsley have decided to give away a new five track EP as a free download.
Jeremy Warmsley first came to our attention via his debut album 'The Art Of Fiction'. Released with little fan fare on celebrated house of indie Transgressive his shrewd songwriting, the economy of his words and his strong voice all made Jeremy Warmsley stand out from the crowd.
Taking time to hone his craft, Jeremy Warmsley returned last year with his new album 'How We Became'. Hailed as the emergence of a bright new talent the record was followed by the singer taking to the road as part of the Transgressive Revue.
Continually working, Jeremy Warmsley has now decided to give away an EP of new material - and one very special cover version.
The new EP is titled '5 Versions' and contains some blistering acoustic performances. Jeremy Warmsley has decided to re-visit previous singles such as 'Dirty Blue Jeans' and 'Lose My Cool' stripping the song down to the bare essentials.
In addition to this, Jeremy Warmsley has decided to cover the old ABBA classic 'One Of Us'.
Speaking to fans the singer said "if you like listening to the pop classics but also go for weird records by artists long-lost to obscurity, then you might just like my EP, which it is a little bit of both."
"I made it in my bedroom on the first warm day of spring, and I'd like you to hear it, so here you go," he added.
The new EP can be downloaded from Jeremy Warmsley's official website. Tracklisting is as follows:
