Jeff Buckley Best Of

New Release Planned

Sadly deceased singer Jeff Buckley is set for a 'Best Of' release, with his version of the Leonard Cohen classic 'Hallelujah' set to re-enter the charts this week.

Buckley's astonishing rendition of the Cohen classic stands as one of the finest vocal performances in modern music, one of the high points of his studio album 'Grace'. The song has entered the public consciousness after X Factor winner Alexandra Burke covered it, breaking all download records in the process.

Son of legendary 60s singer Tim, Buckley Jr died tragically in 1997 leaving 'Grace' as his only finished document. Since his death several more albums has been issued, notably the demos from the sessions to record a follow up to 'Grace' - 'Sketches For My Sweetheart The Drunk'.

The forthcoming 'Best Of' will be titled 'So Real' and will be available from January 5th. The tracklisting for the album is as follows:

'Last Goodbye' (Grace)
'Lover You Should Have Come Over' (Grace)
'Forget Her' (Grace Legacy Edition)
'Eternal Life' (Road Version)
'Dream Brother' (Alternate Take) (Grace Legacy Edition)
'The Sky Is A Landfill' (Sketches)
'Everybody Here Wants You' (Sketches)
'So Real' (Live and Acoustic In Japan)
'Mojo Pin' (Live at Sin-e)
'Vancouver' (Sketches)
'Je N’en Connais Pas La Fin' (Live at Sin-e)
