Jazzie B O.B.E.

Soul II Soul mainman Jazzie B was today awarded an OBE by the Queen in acknowledgement of his contribution to Black British music and his work with young people.

From the group's sound system origins to their chart topping success, Jazzie B has been an inspirational figure now globally in demand as a Dj.

He continues to host his Back II Life festival in Antigua each year and has a new compilation out on Trojan Records in June, 'Jazzie B Presents School Days', showcasing the tracks that inspired him as a teenager.
