Jay-Z stole the show at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend with a little help from Kanye West, Rihanna and M.I.A.
Well, that was the Hackney Weekend. Radio 1's annual outdoor showcase, the massive festival descended on East London just before the Olympics came into town.
Attracting thousands of fans, proceedings were broadcast across the BBC's services. Jay-Z stole the show on Saturday night (June 23rd) with guest appearances from Rihanna, M.I.A. and Kanye West.
Rihanna helped open proceedings, charging through the pair's hit single 'Run This Town'. Jay-Z then performed a number of solo cuts, before departing from the stage.
M.I.A. then played a two song set, but sadly her mic failed during opening track 'Paper Planes'. Performing 'Bad Girls' the singer then made way for a dramatic finale from Jay-Z, which included a guest appearance from Kanye West.
Performing 'Niggas In Paris' the pair urged the crowd to start forming circles pits, with Kanye West and Jay-Z blasting through their verses. Check out some footage from the Jay-Z show below.
