Jarvis Cocker In Pants Auction

Pulp singer donates briefs

A bizarre new auction is set to take place soon with fans able to big on underwear donated by stars such as Jarvis Cocker, Goldfrapp and more.

The new event has been organised to raise money for the charity NNLSDropin. The organisation helps destitute asylum seekers in this country, many of whom are fleeing religious and political persecution.

The new auction takes place on the website eBay. Amongst those who have donated their briefs are former Pulp singer Jarvis Cocker.

Since Pulp split in 2002 Cocker has worked on a number of musical projects. His debut album 'Jarvis' was released in 2006 and was trailed by the single 'Ruling The World' in which Cocker lambasted those who he deemed were taking the planet down the tubes.

Jarvis Cocker headlined the Rough Trade anniversary tour last year, and he used the dates as an opportunity to debut new material. The singer's new album is due to be released later this year but before then fans have a chance to get their hands on the singer's smalls.

Joining Cocker in donating their pants are a number of musicians, actors and sports people. Alison Goldfrapp has also donated some smalls, while comedian Ricky Gervais has handed over a no doubt pungent pair of briefs.

The auction is open now, while there is a detailed explanation of the charity's aims on the official Ricky Gervais website.
