Jarvis Cocker To Host Today
Pulp Man For Radio Show
Former Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker has today been unveiled as a guest editor for a special Christmas edition of BBC Radio 4's Today programme.
Cocker will provide his opinion on the state of the economy and question the censorship of the private lives of politicians.
Sir Win Bischoff, chairman of Citigroup head of England's Catholic Church and novelist Zadie Smith are also said to be editing special shows.
It has become tradition for the Today Programme to invite high profile personalities to a Christmas edition of the show, with previous guests such as Blur frontman Damon Albarn, Professor Steven Hawking and Yoko Ono.
Jarvis Cocker has been busy recently playing a number of solo dates on the Rough Trade anniversary tour as well as delivering a keynote lecture on lyric writing at Manchester's In The City conference.
