Japandroids have confirmed plans for a lengthy burst of European shows this summer - including some British dates.
Japandroids have that everyman quality which only a handful of bands possess. Sounding somewhere between Springsteen and Husker Du, the group's second album 'Celebration Rock' has become a remarkable word of mouth success story.
Sparking an international tour, the Canadian duo were recently invited to support The Gaslight Anthem on a series of massive shows.
Now the pair are plotting their next move. Japandroids have announced plans for a series of European headline dates, including a trip to the UK. Opening in Leeds on July 14th, the short run of headline dates hits Brighton before focussing on the capital.
Japandroids are set to play London venue Dingwalls on July 17th, before finishing with a date at Latitude (and Irish counterpart Longitude).
Here's a version of 'Fire's Highway' recorded at Coachella over the weekend.
