Polish event expands

Jamie Woon and New Order are amongst the latest additions to the line up of Heineken Open’er.

Part of a growing trend towards Eastern Europe on the festival calendar, Heineken Open’er is set for a bumper year. Organisers have been working to expand the line up, with Jamie Woon and New Order amongst the latest additions.

Fusing bass textures with traditional songcraft, Jamie Woon's debut album was a brave experiment. Burial stopped by the studio to offer advice, with sessions resulting in standout singles 'Night Air' and 'Lady Luck'.

An inventive performer, Jamie Woon loops his voice to create dense, choral effects. Breaking cover once again, the English artist is due to take part in this summer's instalment of Heineken Open’er.

Other additions include Factory icons New Order. Reforming last year - sans original bassist Hooky - the band have spent the opening months of 2012 on the road.

Completing an Australian tour, the band are now focussed on their European return. Set to play events across the continent, New Order will bring their hit laden set to Heineken Open’er this summer.

The Manchester greats join a line up dominated by the spectre of Bjork. Set to perform her 'Biophilia' project the Icelandic singer will be joined by Bon Iver, The xx, Justice, Public Enemy, SBTRKT and more.

With cheap flights available from the UK, the trip to Gdynia is beginning to look more and more tempting each day...

Tickets are on sale now.

Heineken Open’er runs between July 4th - 7th.
