Jamie T Debuts New Tracks

Singer prepares new album

Acclaimed songwriter Jamie T is on tour across the UK right now, and has been treating fans to glimpses of material destined for his second album.

Taking to the stage on his own, Jamie T strikes an isolated figure onstage. However, his earnest songwriting soon unites any audience with his charming stage manner capable over winner over the most devout of critics.

Jamie T came to public attention in 2006 with his mixtape ‘Panic Prevention Disco’. Given away to fans at his shows it contained demos of the material that went on to form his debut album ‘Panic Prevention’.

Acclaimed by critics it spawned the hit single ‘If You Got The Money’. Since then, however, little has been heard from Jamie T but the singer debuted new material in Oxford last night (March 2nd).

Emerging onstage the songwriter said “thank you for coming to see us play, I know it’s been a whiled but I don’t plan on stopping now.”

Amongst the new song titles are ‘Sticks And Stones’ and ‘368’. Jamie T’s gentle acoustic side was evident on unheard material such as ‘Jilly Ameen’ and ‘Emily’s Heart’ – both of which are destined for his forthcoming second album.

Much rumours surround the new material with Florence Welch apparently set to duet with the singer.

Jamie T is scheduled to release his as yet untitled second album in June.
