It's out on April 8th

James Blake is set to release his new album 'Overgrown' on April 8th.

Emerging with a series of stunning EPs, James Blake added a newfound sense of introspection to dubstep. Fragile, at times crystalline it was a sound which was quickly labelled 'post-dubstep' by people who should really have known better.

Opting to explore rather more traditional songcraft on his debut album, James Blake found international recognition. Since then, the English has released a handful of one off cuts before beginning work on his second album.

Now the results are almost here. New album 'Overgrown' will be released on April 8th, with lead single 'Retrograde' set to arrive on February 11th.

The track will gain its premiere tonight (February 7th) courtesy of Zane Lowe. Tune in to Radio 1 for its first play...

Finally, James Blake has confirmed plans for a one off show. Set to play London's ICA on February 26th, tickets go on sale at 10am this Friday (February 8th).

For now, here's 'The Wilhelm Scream'.
