Jagger To Team Up With Scorcese?
Rumors Of Collaboration Emerge
Rock icon and frontman with The Rolling Stones Mick Jagger is set to produce a film with legendary director Martin Scorcese, according to reports in British newspapers.
A story in British red top The Sun states that the singer is attempting to buy the rights to biographies which the pair could then turn into a motion picture. The newspaper gave no details about its source, and did not give any specifics on what type of biographies the pair could be buying.
Scorcese last worked with Jagger on the 'Shine A Light' concert movie, released earlier this year. The film followed The Rolling Stones on their 2006 'A Bigger Bang' tour. Featuring guest appearances from Jack White, Buddy Guy and more the film was an acclaimed success.
Jagger himself has worked in the film industry before, beginning with the notorious film 'Performance' in 1968. The singer even owns his own production company, Jagged Film, who were responsible for 2001's 'Enigma' movie.
Rumors persist that Mick Jagger and Martin Scorcese are preparing a project with each other.
