Jackmaster is set to bring his Tweak-A-Holic show to London for a special one off show.
One of the most vital tastemakers in British electronic music right now, Jackmaster is most commonly associated with the more up front, house flavoured end of UK bass. However to limit the Glasgow DJ to one sound is to do the Numbers lynchpin a dis-service.
Always keen to challenge himself, Jackmaster has been taking part in Tweak-A-Holic nights on an ad hoc basis for a while now. Aimed at the dancefloor, the concept of the night is to search through the crates for 80s mutant funk, an era when technology and imagination collided in a fluorescent mixture.
Essentially matching guilty pleasures with rare cuts, Jackmaster will be joined by Numbers cohort Spencer at a one off Tweak-A-Holic night in London on April 6th. Taking place at a private Shoreditch art gallery, the night runs from 10pm all the way through to five in the morning.
