New names for the line up

Jack White and Lana Del Rey have been confirmed for the line up of Eurockeennes.

One of the most high profile events on the French calendar, Eurockeennes now has a reach which stretches across the continent. Headliners this summer include The Cure, with the festival recently adding fifteen names to the bill.

Jack White is amongst the new additions, and fans will undoubtedly embrace another European performances from the iconic guitarist. Currently preparing to release his debut solo album 'Blunderbuss', the Nashville based artist will drop by Eurockeennes.

Making his return to French soil, Jack White will showcase his new solo album and hopefully throw in a few surprises. Part of a new batch of artists confirmed for the French festival, the guitarist will be joined by the likes of prog metal heroes Mastodon, Dropkick Murphys and seminal rap crew Cypress Hill.

Other big names include The Kooks and American newcomer Lana Del Rey. With her single 'Video Games' enjoying an enduring popularity, the artist has scheduled a number of European shows this summer.

Due to play a number of high profile festivals, Lana Del Rey will showcase debut album 'Born To Die' at Eurockeennes. By way of contrast, the new announcement also includes seminal Swedish post-punk outfit Refused.

Spread across three days at Belfort, North East France, the full line up for Eurockeennes will contain more than sixty acts.
