Jack White Hits Out At Coke

Jack White has hit out at Coca Cola after a new advert by the firm features his James Bond soundtrack ditty "Another Way To Day", it has emerged.

The song is a duet with Alicia Keys - the first in the film franchise' history. The sing is to appear in the forthcoming Bond film "Quantum Of Solace" which is set to star Daniel Craig as the lothario and part time spy.

A new Coca Cola advert is themed around Bond iconocraphy, and features the song "Another Way To Day" extensively. However, Jack White has hit out at the firm, claiming that it wasn't his decision to allow the song to be used. In a statement the mercurial Detroit guitarist said:

Jack White was commissioned by Sony Pictures to write a theme song for the James Bond film 'Quantum Of Solace', not for Coca Cola, any other use of the song is based on decisions made by others, not by Jack White. We are disappointed that you first heard the song in a co-promotion for Coke Zero, rather than in its entirety."
