Jack White Cola Controversy
Singer Teams Up To Create Ad
Fresh from controversy over his last appearance on a Coca Cola advert White Stripes mainman Jack White has re-entered the fray by appearing on yet another ad by the firm - this team using his new Bond theme.
The singer endured criticism from certain sections of his White Stripes fan base, obviously enamored with the band's initial DIY ethics. An appearance on a Coca Cola advert saw fans complain in droves, as message boards filled with vitriol aimed at the Detroit guitar slinger.
Now Jack White has re-opened that debate by appearing in a new ad. The Coke Zero range, with no added sugar, will be rebranded as Zero Zero 7 in honour of the new Bond film, and White's theme song has been used to soundtrack the advert.
Teaming up with Alicia Keys, Jack White has supplied an unusual theme for the new Bond movie, titled "Quantum Of Solace". The song is called "Another Way To Die" and is the first duet in the history of the Bond franchise.
The new Coca Cola advert features a heavily stylised scene, reminiscent of the opening credits of a Bond movie. Fan reaction has yet to be gauged, but we'd imagine the hardcore won't be too chuffed.

Such a fan of coke i have a few bottles or cans each day from the time i wake up it is seriously pretty bad. I save the ads i find of theirs in magazines and have some old bottles from the 80's while in greece. If i drank beer or wine as much as this i'd be in some alcohol rehab program for sure.
